Keynote: Overview of Implantology – Using 3D software and CAD/CAM technology with Implant placement and restoration
Biography:
Dr Pieter van Rooyen graduated from the University of Pretoria with his BChD (Baccalaureus Chirurgiae Dental) degree in 1990 and completed the post graduate PPD Implantology course at Stellenbosch University near Cape Town during 2003. He has been in private practice since 1990 and has gained world-class experience in Maxillo Facial and Oral Surgery as an assistant to Professor G. Kariem for 13 years. In 2002, Dr van Rooyen was afforded the opportunity to join Patheodent, where he is currently a partner in the practice.
