Oral Appliance Therapy

Oral appliance therapy is an effective therapy option for snoring and intrusive sleep apnea (OSA). An oral device fits over your teeth like an orthodontic retainer when you  sleep and holdup your jaw in a forward posture to keep your airway open Once you are identified your dentist can fix you with an oral device. Dentist who works with the sleep group have special knowledge in curing sleep apnea. The most responsive treatment to the sleep apnea is CPAP treatment. Some patients opt an oral appliance as it is small, transportable and easy to use.
